Nomie is a Massage Therapist at NV Salon & Spa
Nomie is originally from the Islands of the Philippines ,where she felt , massage had a big influence in her community . She has lived in the U.S.A. for 20 years and began practicing massage 4 years ago . Nomie has been here at N V Salon and Spa for over 2 years and has built a great reputation for herself in a very short span of time .
Nomie specializes in ASHIATSU ORIENTAL BAR THERAPY. This is a very unique massage , requiring special equipment to perform ( custom bars have been installed near the ceiling ). The Ashiatsu Oriental Technique uses deep compression effleurage strokes that glide over the body .Gravitational force is combined with cintrifugal and centripetal movements, this creates a structural change in chronic soft tissue dammage. Correct application will provide deep relaxation . Bars are used above the head for balance and lubricant is applied to the body.
Nomie also offers Prenatal Massage, for expectant mothers. Nomie works with clients who have had trauma to the neck ( such as car accidents etc.) and is successful at providing relief. She also offers Chair Massage . Nomie loves her work and continues to hone her skills through continued education.
